Christmas Outfits: Not So Hard Anymore

Am I the only one who gets really frantic about my outfit for Christmas eve and Christmas day or even Christmas parties? I bet I'm not alone in this, because I know (as a girl) that a lot of us feels this way.

Here's a few things I remembered during this Christmas season:

COLOR

Monotone colors - Simple and classic is just one of the things I love about style. We can never go wrong with classic fashion.

Color of the year 2011 - Honeysuckle, a deep pink-red, was the color of the year for 2011. Dresses with this color is good, but be sure to wear the right shoes! Remember, color isn't a bad thing; you just have to be sure you know how to mix & match and to do it the right way.

Color of the year 2012 - The year 2012's color is absolutely one of my favorite: tangerine tango! It's not hard to wear, and it's not hard to find. Another thing you should look at is the fabric. The kind of fabric is very important especially when it comes to 'big colors'.

PRINT

Animal prints are absolutely awesome! But like every single other thing, we have to make sure it’s the right kind of print. Making a big mistake with animal print is gonna stab you for life! Remember to always check the fabric. You have to make sure that it's cut is classic enough for anything to pull it out.

Vintage print is just one of my favorite. Just like animal prints, fabric and cut is as important. Unlike animal prints, vintage is very easy to partner with and can be classic or absolutely girly.

GLITTER

OOOH! SPARKLES! What kind of person doesn't like sparkles? Definitely not me.

Glitter has always been a big hit but with glitter, you have to be a little toned down because too much is never good.

I guess the best thing to do when experimenting is to have someone with you to give thumbs up or a thumbs down.

NOT FIT. NOT SHORT

I heard that loose is the next fit. At least this is what I have been hearing from the TV. Pairing up black jeggings with a loose top is never wrong. It's the easiest thing to grab from your closet and at the same time, you know that it'll look good no matter what.

Short dresses and short tops used to be a big thing, but now, maybe not so much. I've realized that outfits these days are sort of similar to the ones in the old days.

BOY SHOES

Stylists found a way to make boy shoes cute enough for girls to wear. This is what happens when we need something new. I have to hand it to them, I LOVE BOY SHOES! Not only are they so fashionable, but they happen to be so comfortable as well. What else can we ask for?
